Evaluation of Basic Training Delivered to Catering Staff 2011
During the run-up to the Olympic Games 2012, HealthWorks in London in partnership with the Association of London Environmental Health Managers, (ALHEM) were funded by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) to support food businesses across London to implement Safer Food Better Business (SFB). This project identified a need to offer staff working in kitchens basic Level 1 Food Safety and Health and Safety training and include Basic Literacy and Math’s as a day training offer. This is an evaluation of that and includes feedback from trainees and their employers.
